The beginning of an era

Harsh Mariwala, a sprightly young 20-year old graduates and joins the family business in 1971- Bombay Oil Industries.

Parachute comes into the picture

In 1974, Harsh visualises a branded FMCG market for coconut oil and refined edible oil in smaller consumer packs and establishes a natural distribution network for Parachute.
